The Premise

Brother and sister Joe and Teresa wander the dusty baked streets of a Mexican border town (of the northern kind). Flirting with their neighbor unintentionally, encountering a talking wasp, and nearly getting blasted by a raucous gangster and his girlfriend all prove to be a setup for a trap designed for the brother’s demise. The world morphs, a hebephrenic fool brings Joe to the flip side of the border. Work, play and fondling fun collide and collapse on this California farm. A baby is born, another is not, and the mama engraves into Joe’s brain for all time.
